Adam joined JICS full time as an HPC Systems Administrator in July 2017. Currently, his work focuses on developing and maintaining the compute and storage resources of the various cluster enclaves hosted at the center. His work also includes helping develop and maintain the portals and other support software developed by the operations group.

Adam took on his current position at JICS after completing his B.S. in Computer Engineering and M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, where he completed several Internships with the group, including participation in UT's first ever Student Cluster Challenge Team, which competed at Supercomputing 2013. His graduate research topics included Automated Memory Management Systems, Heterogeneous Memory Systems, and JIT Compilation in Runtime Systems. Current research topics include various aspects of compute cluster management, maintenance, and usage.
